Field options not available

We have a Lucene.NET server already but are running into lockup issues and haven't been able to resolve them. So then I discovered Solr, which inevitably led me to SolrSharp.

I have a concern right off the bat. Posting a new document to Solr using your API isn't feasible for us yet because there are no field storage and index options exposed in the API, as well as how granular you want numbers and Date/Time values (which are converted to strings) as this affects performance and stability in Lucene itself.

Perhaps these aren't exposed in your API because they are are handled by static schema metadata on Solr? Or perhaps this is ultimately a limitation of Solr? I'm brand new to Solr so please fill us in.

OK I see some stuff under your Schema directory.. SolrField.cs .. with "indexed" and "stored" settings, etc.

I was looking at IndexDocument.cs / IndexFieldValue.cs ...

Will keep learning. :)
